Privacy Policy

This policy explains what the EDZER ATS Score Checker collects, why, how we protect it, and the choices you have. It is written specifically for atschecker.edzer.org and the way our resume scoring tool works.

Last updated: 9 June 2026 Applies to: atschecker.edzer.org Controller: EDZER Education Private Limited
lock
Your resume is never stored when you use the free score. It is read inside your browser; only the extracted text is sent to our server to compute your score, and it is discarded after scoring. A copy of the report (and a first‑page image of your resume) is saved only if you choose to pay to unlock the full report. See Section 3.2.

1 Who we are

The EDZER ATS Score Checker is operated by EDZER Education Private Limited (“EDZER”, “we”, “us”, “our”), the data controller responsible for your information under this policy. EDZER’s full form is Employment Development Zone for Educational Resources.

By using atschecker.edzer.org you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2 Information we collect

We collect only what we need to give you an accurate score, deliver a report you pay for, keep the service secure, and (where you allow it) stay in touch.

2.1 Details you confirm to get your free score

To generate your free ATS score, we ask you to confirm four details, which we pre‑fill from your resume where possible so you don’t retype them. All four are required:

Full name Email address Phone / WhatsApp Location — city, state, country

We collect location to apply the correct tax treatment on any purchase and to understand which regions our users come from. These details are stored in our database so we can show you your score, support you, prevent abuse, and (with your separate consent) send you helpful updates.

2.2 Your resume

Your resume file is read in your browser. For the free score, only the extracted text is sent to our server to run the scoring engine, and it is not retained after your score is produced. We do not store the resume file for free users.

If you choose to pay US$2 to unlock the full report, we then store the generated report, the extracted resume text and a first‑page image (screenshot) of your resume on our secure server, so that you can reopen your report later using your private link.

2.3 Your score data

We store the score and parse‑rate you were shown, the resume file name (not its contents), and the report identifier, so we can support you and measure how the service performs.

2.4 Payment information

Payments are processed by our payment provider, Razorpay. We pre‑fill your name, email and phone on the Razorpay checkout so they match the details you confirmed. We receive a confirmation of your payment (such as a payment identifier, amount, status and the contact details you used). We do not collect or store your card, bank or UPI credentials — those are handled by Razorpay under its own terms and privacy policy.

2.5 Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we automatically receive technical information such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, device information, referring URL, the pages you view and the date/time of your visit. We use this for security, fraud prevention and to keep the service working.

2.6 Cookies, pixels and advertising identifiers

We and our advertising partners use cookies and similar technologies. When you arrive from an ad, we may record attribution parameters in the page address — including utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content, the Google click ID (gclid) and the Meta click ID (fbclid) — so we can measure which campaigns work. See Section 6 for advertising and analytics detail and how to opt out.

4 Legal bases for processing

Where data‑protection laws such as the EU/UK GDPR or India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 apply, we rely on the following bases:

5 How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run the service, and only with parties bound to protect it:

6 Advertising & analytics

We advertise this free tool on platforms including Google and Meta (Facebook/Instagram). To understand whether our ads work, we use their measurement tools — such as Google Ads conversion tracking, Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel — together with the click identifiers and campaign parameters described in Section 2.6. These partners may set cookies and process limited data as independent or joint controllers under their own policies.

You can control this tracking:

7 International data transfers

EDZER is based in India, and our service providers may process data in other countries. Where your information is transferred across borders, we take steps to ensure it remains protected in line with applicable law and that our providers offer appropriate safeguards.

8 Data retention

When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

9 Security

We use HTTPS encryption in transit, access controls, unguessable private links for stored reports, and reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data and to notify you and the authorities of any breach as required by law.

10 Your rights & choices

Subject to applicable law, you may:

To exercise any of these rights, email info@edzer.org. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. You also have the right to complain to your local data‑protection authority.

12 Third‑party links

Our pages may link to other sites (including edzer.org and our payment provider). This policy does not cover those sites; please review their privacy policies separately.

13 Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or the law. We will post the revised version here and update the “Last updated” date. Significant changes may also be notified by email or a notice on the site.
